The food is comfort...the scene is comforting...and the weather is gorgeous. Is that good enough?
We ate Shady Grove our first night back; nothing changes even though the whole city has and is.
We've had burritos as big as our heads, breakfasts that dont cost $14 for pancakes, real maple syrup, cobbler, and Blue Bell, real donuts, pho, and Whataburgers. Good times.
We both have jobs now, and soon will have a roof...we have walked the streets and felt comforted. And that is all we have asked.
Sure the traffic is terrible, but the people are friendly, and courteous, and polite.
So come on down now ya hear!
