Contest

Part of the grand opening month festivities are Monday cooking contests. Bring what you make that fits the theme and be judged by the cooks. The first one was this week with squash as the centerpiece. Such potential, such possibility, fame, fortune, glory. One entry- butternut squash baked with butter and lemon juice next to spaghetti squash baked with butter, lemon juice and parmesan. Really. That's it. Perhaps this is proof that people really are intimidated by cooking. Or maybe they are just lazy...
