the goings on...

So..I have been leery of posting about this, as I have about anything going on in my real life job...but here goes.

’The powers that be’ have decided to close my restaurant.

What this means, is that my cooks and I will be reassigned. And not all of us to where we would like to be...but we are better off than the FOH, will have to reapply for jobs...mumbo jumbo due to union contracts.

I will be moved back to mornings as the AM banquet chef overseeing all breakfast and lunch banquets as well as breakfast service in our a la carte/buffet restaurant. My cooks will be shuffled into a new restaurant that will open in October to be the night crew on a different chef’s line.
