Surprise Travel

Got home from work last night to a delightfully potentially life changing message; nice to be receiving good news. Apparently I have been selected as a delegate for the Slow Food Terra Madre gathering in Turin, Italy this October! Since I applied with all the information when I lived in Canada and was an educator, I missed all the emails and deadlines. Now I have till next Friday to let them know my itinerary. Truly, good times! Donations appreciated. Now it's off to the kitchen to see if I can get the time from them. Who knows what kind of educational staff funds exist there...
