Mourning the passing of one of the best...

Bob Long...chef, mentor, counselor, teacher, sarcastic partner, taster of my pate’. I still remember when you called me the real deal one day in after-school work along with Ben. I remember sneaking back and writing bad french food words on your dry erase board while your back was turned to your class. ( Bad french, not bad words.)

You have been an inspiration to thousands of students...(were you that old?), and will be remembered by all that took your class on cooking theory. You will always be in our hearts and our minds telling us that things should be how they are...and your sarcastic wit was appreciated by those of us who ’got’ food and cheffing.
